<p class="mw-empty-elt"></p><p>The <b>Seed Studio Wio-SX1262</b> is a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LoRa" class="extiw external" title="wikipedia:LoRa">LoRa</a> <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RF_module" class="extiw external" title="wikipedia:RF module">module</a> based around the SX1262 LoRa <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transceiver" class="extiw external" title="wikipedia:Transceiver">transceiver</a> chip. It is typically connected to either the <a href="XIAO_ESP32-S3" class="mw-redirect" title="XIAO ESP32-S3">XIAO ESP32-S3</a> or the <a href="XIAO_nRF52840" class="mw-redirect" title="XIAO nRF52840">XIAO nRF52840</a> microcontroller board, as they are sold in kits.
</p><p>It is important to note that while the module carrier board that comes in each kit both have the same number of pins, they are not pin compatible; the module carrier board from the XIAO ESP32-S3 kit cannot be connected to XIAO nRF52840, and vice versa.

<p>There are two models of the Wio-SX1262. The base model operates on frequencies between 862 and 930 MHz, while the Wio-SX1262-LF operates on the lower-frequency 470 MHz band. It also operates on the 433 MHz band at a decreased transmit power of 10 dBm (10 mW). This lower-frequency model is not available as a kit.
